I have made it a goal to visit every sand dune park in the US. So far, I have been to three. These habitats and landscapes create a surreal feeling. Maybe it's because I am so used to the mountains in Colorado. But the desert lands a special place in my heart.
A place of quiet solitude where nature erases your footsteps. Get lost in the sands of time and leave with a shoe full of it.
